I don’t photograph Paris for its noise, but for its silence
Philippe Triconnet is a French fine art black and white photographer based near Paris.
Alongside a demanding career in finance, he briefly developed a professional activity in live performance and event video before returning to still photography. Portraits and street photography came first, before his work gradually turned toward images shaped by light, structure, and stillness.
He now devotes his practice to monochrome photography, attentive to lines, shadows, and discreet human presence. Museums, train stations, places of worship, and urban architecture become spaces of resonance between stone, light, and anonymous silhouettes.
This site brings together a selection of ongoing personal work.
